We discussed several areas of cooperation, including innovative technologies in areas such as the production of quality animal feeds and training dairy cooperatives, with the end goal of reducing prices of livestock products and increasing farmers' income.

As a ministry, we are looking forward to more partnerships that will ensure responsible livestock production and enhance food security, export and employment opportunities. 2/2

Kenya and the Netherlands share a longstanding partnership in agriculture.

This morning at Kilimo House, I hosted a delegation from the Netherlands who are on an innovation mission in Kenya with the aim of identifying mutual opportunities intended to increase the sustainability of the livestock sector. 1/2

Visit to @WageningenUniversity&Research on 14/6, was on the program of the last day of the intensive Greenhouse robotics mission. At @NPEC, @AFRroboticslab, and @Phenomena, delegates saw the evolution of harvesting robots, automation of retrieving plant data, & the use of AI.
