@Chookooloonks Three years ago, when I was 50, my husband, teen son, and I left Houston, where we had lived for 13 years, took a year-long trip around the world, and ended up moving permanently to Australia.
@CMaxwell27 @rebeccamakkai Same. That’s immediately what I thought of too. I was a sophomore in high school. All day long, I kept repeating “the Challenger exploded”. I saw it on that tv.
@lauratremaine I know lots of big readers and writers who feel that way. I’m weirdly good at it, but am not good at the NYT spelling bee. I think because wordle is more a logic puzzle than a word puzzle.
@LizerReal I keep going to my stylist because she’s not chatty. I love listening to convos around us, and don’t care that my stylist is quiet. She’s not even great at cutting, but she’s not annoying.
@quinncy I’m a Go. I honestly don’t know about my 14 yo son, because he’s been dragged along to a new country and has pivoted seamlessly. But will he leave and go back “home” when he’s older? Or keep Going?
@javachik I watched this film on Sunday, on the plane, and cried and cried. I was already emotional because we were evacuating, and this movie opened the floodgates.
