But the way maps are drawn inflates the size of some countries, so places like the United States, Russia, Canada, and the whole European continent get massively inflated on traditional maps, whereas Africa appears smaller than its true size. When you draw countries to true scale, it’s amazing just how many you can fit into Africa.
