@emilyetaylor23 When I was little, I wanted to be a double dutch jump rope person who performed at elementary school assemblies. Wouldn’t that be a fun job? Cool tricks and happy kids. (As an adult, I realize the level of cardio it takes and I’m less interested.)
@kenzianidiot A friend gifted me a GlassyBaby which felt incredibly thoughtful. https://t.co/BhUKyRgAxf I also like the idea of donating to an animal shelter in their name.
@adamstatonsmith Western Undergraduate Exchange. If you live in a western state and attend a (participating) western college, you get a steep discount on out-of-state tuition. Not as low as in-state students, but definitely worthy.
@AaronLevine_ It also struck me that all of the journalists did an excellent job of giving him time to respond and feel those emotions, rather than quickly filling the dead air with another question.
@simplyseattle At home in Anchorage with my 19-year-old hockey loving son who is just as invested in a Mariners' win as I am. Wearing my Cal Might As Well shirt that I picked up at a game last week. Let's go, Mariners!
@KennethKirkPC@alaskalandmine Lots of direct communication with families, including texts & phone calls. Other messages, like social media posts, are to help broadcast the message far and wide, similar to snow closure days. The fewer kids out and about while officers are searching for a shooter, the better!
@ChefReactions A few months ago, I practically begged for you to become a Mariners fan. It's ok though. Now is not the time. You have to suffer for years before you can celebrate. I do appreciate your love of baseball though, regardless of the team!
