Rock Creek (3A, 7-0) continues to impress as they remain undefeated on the season, with sophomore QB Tate Smith stepping in mid-year and thriving under center. In last week’s big NCKL win over Concordia, Smith was electric, throwing for 335 yards and 5 touchdowns on 15-of-22 passing. Three of those scores went to junior Luke Skinner, who finished the night with 135 receiving yards. Despite only starting the last few games, Smith has already racked up 937 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. Under HC Shane Sieben, Rock Creek looks like a serious postseason contender. They’ll look to finish the regular season strong this week as they travel to Chapman. #sportsinkansas

Tate ended his middle school football career 13-1 last night. Really proud of the progress he made this year. He threw for 1900 yards and 30 tds this year, 3500 yards and 58 tds in middle school.
He has a bunch of stud receivers & a great line. Looking forward to the future.
