🚨🗣️: Wayne Rooney shares his thoughts on Michael Carrick’s tenure at Manchester United.

"Look, I know it’s a tough period for the club right now and the fans are frustrated—I get it, we all want to see Manchester United back at the top straight away. But the supporters have got to stay patient and really get behind Michael [Carrick]. He knows the culture of this football club inside out, he knows what standard is required to win here, and he’s trying to build something properly.

You only have to look at what’s happened down at Arsenal with Mikel Arteta. When Mikel first took over, things were rocky. Everyone was questioning him, calling for his head every couple of weeks, but the board backed him, the fans stuck with it, and they trusted the process. Look at them now—they’re delivering week in, week out and competing for major titles. That didn't happen overnight.

Modern football management takes time. You can't just chop and change every six months and expect magic. Michael needs that exact same patience, time, and backing from Old Trafford. If the fans stick together and give him the support he needs, I’m fully confident he’ll get United back to where we belong."
