Happening NOW
The long-awaited premiere of the documentary "Bobiwine the people's president", is happening now at the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts in Beverly Hills.
In attendance is, H.E Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, First Lady Barbie, the first family and Comrade Nubian Li.
Stop comparing this regime to General Idi Amin’s. Amin came to power via coup, ruled by decree, and never lied about it. What you saw is what you got. No wasted taxpayer money on a bloated, fake democracy. Throughout his entire eight-year regime (1971–1979), there was no functioning legislature, and all laws in the country were made by presidential decree. Amin ruled absolutely, vesting all executive and legislative powers in himself and his Advisory Defense Council, which was composed of military officers.
Today’s rulers preach water and drink wine. They shout "Jesus and democracy" while abducting citizens, hiding them, and using courts to legitimize tyranny. If they hate the rule of law, why keep the democratic facade? Why not just declare a dictatorship?
But why are we wasting money on elections honestly can’t the government divert that money into paying medical interns and also building hospitals please 🙏
Looking at what the regime did in Kalangala yesterday, Would anyone be wrong to assume that they killed Hon Nakimuli to forcefully take over that District, the same way they killed Ffeffeka to take over Kayunga?
They treat us as subhuman.
They kill our people for fun
They rape our sisters and brothers.
They torture us on camera.
They abduct us without remorse.
They tear families apart.
They drive people into exile.
They push others to commit suicide.
They rig elections with impunity.
They mock us and post humiliating images of our comrades in captivity.
Then they ask us “What will you do about it?”
But when we remind them, that they too are mortal, and that pain has a way of returning to its source, they suddenly remember the language of ‘morality’.
Go and preach that fake morality to Yasin Kawuma’s mother.
Preach it to the children of Johnbosco Kibalama., Eddy Mutwe or Waiswa Mufumbiro.
Preach it to the family of John Ddamulira and to the countless other victims of the Museveni family.
Don’t try to weaponize ‘morality’ to shield injustice and brutality.
It won’t work with this generation!
Yes, we believe in morality, but silence in the face of injustice is not morality. It is complicity, it is hypocrisy!
When developed countries are discussing how to even develop more and improve lives of their people, how to innovate more; see the priorities of the leaders of a third world heavily indebted country! And tomorrow we will blame colonialism for our underdevelopment!
Checking on our polling agents at the various polling stations in KALANGALA. We continue to hope for the best, despite the regime's every effort to rig this election. Numberless vehicles are moving around. We've been informed of voter bribery, and intimidation of our polling agents in the island sub-counties. We urge our people to remain vigilant, and appreciate all leaders who are on ground helping out.
Let’s not be diverted. PLU is targeting on how leader of opposition can be removed from office which is not provided for in the law. (Legal minds can guide)
After passing the law, PLU will get an opposition legislator to move a censure motion against the Hon Joel Ssenyonyi!
Leader of Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi has been forced to return to Masaka after failing to reach Kalangala, where he was scheduled to observe the voting process for NUP candidate Irene Nampala in the district by-election.
Ssenyonyi says the ferry disruption affected his movement and that of other travellers heading to Kalangala. He claims the ferry, which was scheduled to depart at 11am, did not allow passengers to board before later turning back to Masaka while already on the lake.

Denying @EriasLukwago bail is one of the lowest for @JudiciaryUG .
It i a delicate balance between courts residual relevance and the heavy whims of the emergy military rule. They bent to the later- "kelsen theory"
@Parliament_Ug is gone and so is the last fortress.
I die I die
Eventually, we got onto another ferry which set off. Mid-way the journey on the lake, its operators got instructions to reverse and return to Bukakata landing site where we came from. Apparently, the ferries will not move to Kalangala for as long as I’m on board.
All other travelers have been stuck since morning, including those on board and the many others who have been waiting outside. I’ve now decided to disembark to stop the impasse, so that the ferries can transport the stranded travelers.
Very sad state of affairs!
Given the determination they have for me not to make it to Kalangala, even other means like a speed boat would be risky since the military might intercept us in the middle of the lake to cause us harm, or worse!
Oh Uganda, may God uphold thee!
