@loosewomen @clbleakley it’s so hard to answer these type of questions - to answer honestly and say that your child passed away opens a very personal conversation, that you might not want to get into with a total stranger! But we also do not want to deny our child so it puts us in a tough situation 😢

@loosewomen @clbleakley its not only difficult for those with infertility issues - My 11 year old son (and only child) passed away 3 years ago. The question “do you have any children” or “how many children do you have” is dreaded by every single bereaved parent I know.

@melhall10 @Lou_a_arnold @AcornsHospice Ahh, she is Mel, she was Ben’s godmother and adored him. Her hubby had a place too but had to pull out as snapped his patella tendon. But they’ve still raised well over the amount they needed for their two places! 💛
