The fact I’ve been consistently ill afterwards and I’m terrified of losing my job from how much I’ve been off sick isn’t helping with my stress either. I’m just fed up rn.

I’ve spent WEEKS waiting to find out of my thyroid issue that landed me in A&E twice is autoimmune or not, only to find out they didn’t run the test because reasons???

I know it’s not standard to do antibodies after treatment, but I was on these meds for 8 years, had an episode so bad multiple doctors thought I had cancer, plus a family history of thyroid antibodies and poof! Nothing.

Can��t believe my organisation is getting rid of all the sanitary bins. They’re replacing them with bags. FUCKING BAGS. This isn’t just in my office, it’s across the whole org, including patients. Absolutely vile.

@nicoleloiseee It’s so shocking. Part of my reason for pushing through and staying is to campaign for better attendance policies for disabled staff, or getting mental health to be a good enough reason for a day off (either sick leave, or a pick me up on an annual leave day) without punishment

@nicoleloiseee That said I don’t think any of them would get it on 80k a year plus all the benefits they get. Chuck them on minimum wage and see how they bloody like it.

@nicoleloiseee I’ve seen the inside of a hospital (as a patient…) more times this year than I have in the past several bc I can’t get the balance right. It’s messed up my mental and physical health so much my body has MADE me stop with a vengeance. They just don’t get it???

@nicoleloiseee It’s ridiculous, like do they not realise PIP isn’t means tested. You can be ill enough to claim PIP and well enough to work, and labour will still imply we’re bloody scroungers 👀

As if any of us want to be so ill that we can’t work 🤦🏻
