Thank you to The Young Educator on Instagram who happily shared this amazing vocab resource with me! You should all follow her!!! She develops amazing resources for the classroom that make organisation and implementation a lot easier! Hopefully you all find this useful! #ACUedu_p
This semester has flown by so quickly! So hard to believe we are in the middle of week 12! This semester has been insightful and challenging, I have definitely learnt a lot from it! #acuedu_p
Today in our EDAB tutorial, we created mind maps that linked to what we have learnt throughout the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultures, Peoples and Education unit this semester 💛 ❤️🖤
My digital portfolio is FINISHED AND UPLOADED!!! I’m extremely proud of this assignment! I hope everyone is close to finishing as well 🙏🏼🙏🏼 THIS IS HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW 🤣🤣#ACUedu_p
Another role play tutorial session with Sarah! What an engaging tutorial this morning! It’s great to see some of my friends get up there and be put in mock Interview situations. #acuedu_p@ryaanchapmaan
Parent teacher interviews 😬😬 let’s just say @ryaanchapmaan (teacher) handled @AtikeRachelle (parent) really well, regardless of her extensive range of questions 🤣🤣 #ACUedu_p
@TaylorShalala98 and I went on an excursion to the Royal Botanic Gardens a few weeks ago! We visited the First Encounters garden and listened the the tour guide explain its importance. A really good experience!! #acuedu_p
This Monday, I attended my first Staff Development Day! It was filled with understanding the Numeracy and Literacy Progressions and discussing ways to improve the guided reading program this term! #ACUedu_p
The most significant thing I have learnt during EDFD452 is how to complete a professional learning plan. This is an amazing way to reflect on my ability to teach, especially during my transition into the profession #acuedu_p
I’ve started to stock up on cute, motivational resources for my students coming back into term 2! Stamps, stickers and ‘Miss Dagher’s SMILE AWARDS’!! I think I’m more excited to use them than the students will be to receive them 🤣#ACUedu_p
No matter if online, hybrid, and in-person, oral storytelling activities can increase class participation and advance equitable youth voice over time.

I never saw anything good about these pop-it’s & found that they distracted the students more than they helped them. However, I tried to put a positive spin on it & create an education version! What do you think?

It has been such a busy week at work, considering it’s the last week of term. Monday was filled with assessment tasks, Tuesday was the first whole school assembly since 2019 and yesterday was the Athletics Carnival! Now it’s time to prepare for Easter 🙏🏼🤍 #ACUedu_p
THE KINDNESS CHALLENGE ✨This is an activity I planned for students where they were challenged to write as many things they could think of about kindness. It was so interesting to see how students work together and share ideas with each other, and they’re only in K-1!! #acuedu_p
I saved this over a year ago to my camera roll! It’s one thing to educate, but it’s also important to teach students how to be KIND!!!! I loved this idea #ACUedu_p
