In this mornings tute, it was insightful to learn more about how to better manage a new class when casual teaching. Here are some strategies I took from today:
✏️ have clear expectations.
✏️ have a clear warning system.
✏️ stay consistent.
✏️ positive reward system

Directional cues are integral to getting students prepared for their learning in a calm and controlled manner! As a casual teacher I find this my most effective strategy, especially when starting the day with a new class (which is everyday 😅) #acuedu_p
