Welcome home Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy! 🫶
The Artemis II astronauts have splashed down at 8:07pm ET (0007 UTC April 11), bringing their historic 10-day mission around the Moon to an end.
I’ve had a few hundred trick-or-treaters look through this monster telescope and see the rings of Saturn with their own eyes tonight. Hopefully I’m spreading the love of space to the next generation of astronauts 🤓
Don’t worry, I gave them candy too!
We're often asked why there's a color change in the stone of the Washington Monument. The color change marks how far the towering monument was lowered underground every night in the 1940s to help planes avoid it after National Airport opened on the Potomac. #WashingtonDC
Your order was delivered… to the Moon! 📦
@Int_Machines' uncrewed lunar lander landed at 6:23pm ET (2323 UTC), bringing NASA science to the Moon's surface. These instruments will prepare us for future human exploration of the Moon under #Artemis.
Flight 72. That’s the final flight for our Ingenuity #MarsHelicopter.
Ingenuity and its team proved that powered, controlled flight on another world was possible. #ThanksIngenuity. You may rest, but your legacy will continue to soar: https://t.co/uEe2ZAw2ML
