🔹Should be mostly asynchronous for equity.
🔹Students value the chance to check-in for a chat to show you care.
🔹It's hard for teachers, parents and young people.
🔹Reach out for help and support if you are struggling, technically, emotionally.

@searson_seamus @SSTAtradeunion We are open till Wednesday. Staff are anxious, everyone is exhausted. I just don’t see the educational value in keeping schools open (on the least productive days of the school year) in the face of mounting public health concerns.

@SSTAtradeunion I and many of my colleagues will not get to see family members this Christmas due to school remaining open until 23rd. School staff feel that their safety and that of their loved ones is of no importance to @scotgov. Will SSTA take any firm action on this?
