The sun’s out, the temperature’s in double figures, the sky is blue(ish) and @DigbethDiner has released their summer tour dates (so far)…I can almost TASTE summer 😍🤘🏻
THE DDC SUMMER TOUR 2023 🎉
As promised, here is all the evidence you need that 2023 is going to be our biggest year to date: it's just the 30 events across five months (so far) - some new, some old.💫

#AD Got to know @wearerudyspizza’s new spot in @Brindleyplace this evening - lovely place, delicious food and absolutely delightful staff…as always. I like it there a lot - even more so with specials like the triple pepperoni & almost carbonara 👌🏻👏🏻
This Spring can’t come quickly enough for many reasons…this now being one of them! Couldn’t be happier that @DigbethDiner is opening up in my ends 😍 Can’t wait to see what The Dock Works brings to the Black Country - congrats to all involved 👏🏻
Okay, the legends over at the @ExpressandStar beat us to it last night, so the cats out the bag: we're opening up in the Black Country!
The Dock Works will be a street food venue, community space and market place. Opening this Spring.

This reminds me - @British_Airways I’m still waiting for a response to a claim I made at the very beginning of September 2022. You not only owe a lot of customers explanations, but money too. Get it together.
@ginamartinuk@British_Airways You can tell a lot about a company is when things go wrong. @British_Airways customer care is terrible. It is almost impossible to get in contact, which they dont care about obvs or they would resource it better. Dont be fooled, BA are little more than another budget carrier.
@BrumFoodPod Particularly interesting take on the carbon footprint of the customer vs. the sustainability of the restaurant…never really thought about that before!
#BlueMonday is a piece of crap pseudo science originally part of a travel company's press release to sell holidays.
Can we all try to avoid rewarding marketeers, using this term, which tries to sell goods by parasiting on the back of real mental health campaigns.
Two words, each hundreds of years old, that are still worth holding on to: ‘respair’: fresh hope, and ‘resipiscence’: a return to a better frame of mind.
Here’s to both in 2023. Happy New Year.
