Something similar happened to me once.
I was trying to send 50k to someone's Opay, I got a digit wrongly and mistakenly sent to another person.
Using the Opay digit put 0 at the front. I called the number to tell him that I had sent some funds to him wrongly that hope he won't mind sending it back.
He said wrong number. I was damn sure it wasn't. He cut the phone.
Later he called me back that, Yes he truly received the money but if I want him to send it back, he had to take his own share of the money which was 20k.
I was shocked, you want to take almost half of the money, wrongly sent to you. I sent No! Send my money back.
He goes I am still arguing with him?
Then says, when I am ready I will tell him how much I want him to take from the money.
Immediately, I called my bank UBA, Explained what happened, provided reference details.
Then I told him okay, take your 20k and send me the remaining money. He said OK! After few minutes he removed his share of my money and sent the remaining.
Luckily , UBA reversed the money and removed my money from his account too 😂😂
Now the chips were on my end.
I just saw he started calling me. I gave him a little taste of his medicine.
Then he said He saw that the money had been removed from his account, I said Yes, I reported the transaction and got my money back.
He didn't know how to say it, He Then started begging that can I send back the one he sent to me?
I told him, if I decided to behave like a fraud like him and denied receiving the money, what will he do?
He goes, he is just a hustler and he is sorry for what he did.
He started begging , begging ... I said I am not like you, I will send your money back.
I sent his money back to him, dude was shocked
He tried being my friend and started checking up on me on whatsapp.
I was just laughing 😂😂😂
The emergence of the beginning of Narco Terrorism in Nigeria and Coastal West Africa, should neither be confused with Islamist Insurgencies, nor be ignored. The Narcos are growing stronger with both strategic and operational (and some tactical level) coordination & administration with Narco Terrorist Groups in Latin America. This must not be ignored; this cannot be fought with regular COIN tools and Doctrine.
The proliferation of arms, mercs and youth populations devoid of hope becoming Narco zombies, poses a greater danger by scale, than any other threat across the threat matrix in Nigeria and Coastal West Africa.
The NDLEA is doing an outstanding job and needs to be properly resourced, their mandate strengthened and a regional operational coordination mechanism established/strengthened.
The proliferation of meth-labs, grow-houses, stash houses, armories and safe houses in our forests, attest to the fact stated above, with concealment methods and strategies pointing to the evolving sophistication of the Narco groups.
The future of insecurity in Coastal West Africa is Narco Terrorism, and sadly that monster grows everyday.
"I inherited an uncivilised state akin to a jungle. Mountains of refuse were scattered around Lagos, Govt Hospitals lacked Ambulances & defibrillators & many public school buildings didnt have roofs. "-Tinubu spitting 100% facts about the chaotic state of 1999 Lagos.
Asiwaju made sure some bitter lunatics & emergency Jakande lovers do not rewrite history.
“The Aircraft that landed on a concrete road in Asaba about 4 weeks ago did not have any technical issue. It landed on the road, dropped its passengers, turned back and headed back to Lagos. Immediately the matter was reported to the DSS and all involved persons have been arrested, detained and facing legal action. It is being treated as a National security threat”.

@matrumery@TheYorubaTimes Yes ooo. I remember one governor like that who setup conflicts between Catholic Churches and Anglicans in his state few years back. Very cancerous politician.
My cousin just called and asked if I would loan her $300.00 to help her pay her rent.
Those who know me, know that I'm always willing to help out friends and family.
I told her to give me some time to think about it and I would call her back.
Before I called her back, my aunt called and told me that my cousin was lying and not to give her the money.
She goes on to say that the real reason my cousin wanted the $300.00 was to get her boyfriend out of jail so she could be under the same roof as him for his birthday.
I thought about it for a minute and decided to give her the $300.00 because we all need help at times.
So, I called my cousin and told her to come and get the money.
A couple of hours later, I get a call from the jailhouse, it was my cousin crying, screaming and asking why I gave her counterfeit money.
I told her “so you and your boyfriend could be under the same roof for his birthday!”

If crude oil is procured weeks or months before it is processed, under commercial contracts linked primarily to monthly average pricing mechanisms, can they explain this:
US struck Iran on 28th February. By March 2nd, Dangote Refinery increased ex-depot price by ₦100 to ₦874/L.
11 days later (March 13), the ex-depot price was increased from ₦874/L to ₦1,175/L. An increase of N401/L in 11 days.
So, if crude oil is procured weeks or months ahead, and the ex-depot price reacted upward instantly to market shock, why is it not reacting downwards at the same rate after oil prices crashed?
