@JCrouchPhoto Interesting. I don’t know much about what factors into the Social Vulnerability index, but it seems like there are certainly much more vulnerable tracts on that map. Maybe just an aging population more generally (+plus lack of public transit options)?

Any Chicago folks know why these tracts in particular are red? The middle one I guess is theoretically Des Plaines river flooding. Idk enough about northern Illinois to speculate on that. The one near Oak Lawn makes no sense though.

@StatisticUrban This is a fascinating resource but I think the county level map is skewed too much by population centers. For example Chicago / Cook county appears to be 99th percentile here but when you view it by census tract it looks entirely different.
