As of the end of 2025, the global population of the crested ibis had exceeded 12,000, and its habitat had expanded to more than 20,000 square kilometers, according to the latest statistics from the Forestry Bureau of Shaanxi Province. The species has been lowered from the "Critically Endangered" status to "Endangered" on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List.
"All living things may grow side by side without harming one another, and different roads may run in parallel without interfering with one another," Chinese President Xi Jinping once cited this ancient Chinese saying to illustrate that lasting prosperity and security can only be achieved when countries pursue the common good, live in harmony, and engage in mutually beneficial cooperation.
Just as Xi has noted, the people of China and the United States are both great peoples. "The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and making America great again can go hand in hand. We can help each other succeed and advance the well-being of the whole world," Xi said. https://t.co/NBdejJje7u
