@JoelJanovsky I see it more as a good SEO should be able to look at a site and before they use any tools identify at least 5 things that need improvement. Having an eye to identify issues before opening the first tool shows that you can identify things that will be supported by tools.
@lesley_pizza You can do a 301 redirect to the new domain to make sure that if it does get crawled it pushes it to the new domain. That way you can delete the pages and not worry about any 404 errors. After a few months or a year you can remove all the 301 redirects that were created.
