'User control and freedom' is of increasing ethical importance. Tech is becoming a more intimate part of user lives and user boundaries are becoming more flexible. So where do designers draw the line? How do we respect control when users are relaxing it more? #uxchat

One thing we see as a driver is cost, unfortunately, which means heuristic evaluation, if done in a vacuum is perceived to be less expensive (until you do thorough testing and realize how much was either missed or misdiagnosed) as opposed to "selling in" usability #uxChat
