According to the World Health Organization (WHO) - Health is about holistic well being. While physical is about the tangible and is largely understood by all, mental is about the intangible - how people think and feel, which is usually ignored.

Sadly, one of the reasons why people do not seek treatment is because they believe in this myth.
Research, however, has shown that most people who receive treatment for problems related to mental health do improve, including those with serious conditions
Let's dispel this myth!
#2020 has been more difficult than any year for a lot of us.
This low phase was the gestation period for the Phoenix in all of us to #rise, which gets dormant or submerged under the #mundane forces of life.

Research among American population shows that half of all mental health disorders show first signs before a person turns 14 years old, and three quarters of mental health disorders begin before age 24.
Unfortunately, less than 20% of children and adolescents receive the needed treatment. Early support can help a child before problems interfere with other developmental needs.
Watch out for any early sign.
Mental health problems are real. It's not about being sad, unorganised or looking hapless.
Mental health issues need proper intervention, help and support.
We are all about contradictions. While on one hand, some of us feel that mental health is not real, on the other, we fear catching it. Funny!
But it's largely due to lack of awareness and conversation around the topic.
