Update: Killed the cancer via chemo, surgery, and radiation. Officially cancer free, just currently dealing with the ramifications of those treatments. On daily "don't come back, cancer" pills, plus every six months I have a quick Zometa infusion. New normal!

Great job, @bobmaxon! (We will ignore the Thanksgiving giggle.)
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) slams the Trump administration for the federal funding crisis:
"Let's be clear, this is a demonstration of cruelty against people who depend on us working families who rely on federal assistance to pay their rent, people who need help paying their utility bills, parents who need critical programs like Head Start for quality affordable child care and 3.5 million Illinoisans who get their health insurance through Medicaid."
"Donald Trump's administration is lying to you."
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D) slams the White House for claiming that their grant freeze would not affect Head Start and Medicaid.

@acnewsitics My almost 70 year old white woman neighbor has a Trump sign in her yard. Every political conversation I have had with her has ended with "Oh." And yet the sign remains. She's hard core republican and "doesn't want anyone killing babies."

@txelz I've been wanting this for a long, long time. My love of elephants is strong (Mom taught me to love them at a young age). I originally wanted her handwriting for the phrase, but feared it would turn into a blob. Fortunately for me, my mum was into the power of the pen & books!
Spent all yesterday at a tattoo shop down in Norwalk. I'm so in love with the work. Deiby took all my ideas and created art I am thrilled to carry on my ole body (right inner forearm). Can't wait to see it healed.
@acnewsitics I'm old school and love to vote on Election Day. It just feels good, like I am part of the community doing our duty and exercising my right to make my voice heard. (The Scouts are there selling popcorn, ornaments, and cookies. I see neighbors.) I love Election Day.
