Many girls in Malawi miss schooling because of their period, they stay at home because they don’t have pads.
So for #IWD2026 the @McC_IF are raising funds to provide dignity packs for 200 schoolgirls so they can stay in class with confidence.💜
If you are unable to donate, you can still help by sharing this appeal with others.

Burnout develops when an autistic nervous system is forced to:
• mask to be understood
• tolerate ongoing sensory overload
• compensate socially and emotionally
• push past limits to appear “functional”
SHARE marks 10 years of supporting people experiencing homelessness and assisting refugees everywhere.
With teams working across Mold lead by Jackie Powell & Anne Jones and Chester lead by Lindsey Clapham, Viv Devlin and Neil, with Dickie Danby as volunteer CEO, supported by our trustees, the charity supports hundreds of people sleeping rough, sofa surfing, families being resettled, and those fleeing conflict overseas.
Founded ten years ago by Monica Hogg, Louise Edwards and myself Adam Dandy, SHARE has helped tens of thousands of people around the world, made possible by the incredible commitment of volunteers who have given their time, care and energy to support others.
To recognise this milestone, the charity was joined by the Lord Mayor of the City of Chester Sherin Akhtar, who praised the dedication and hard work of SHARE’s current 125 volunteers, as well as everyone who has been part of the charity’s journey over the past decade.
Special thanks were given to the Chester Share Shop team led by the brilliant Kath Young, Ellie, Nay, Jo, Katie, Jane and their incredible volunteers for organising the event, marking ten years since the very first Share Shop ribbon was cut on Northgate Street, opposite Storyhouse, by the then MP Christian Matheson alongside Mark Tami MP.
Guests also included supporters CF Fertilisers, Grosvenor Estates & Chester Cathedral as well as people helped by the charity, who have sought refuge in the UK and individuals who previously slept rough in Chester and, with SHARE’s support, have since turned their lives around and found a safe place to call home.
Representatives from Chester Aid to the Homeless, Soul Kitchen and Chester’s Blue Coat charities attended to show their support for the strong, collaborative approach taken across the city.
The charity also announced the upcoming opening of its new SHARE Homeless Action Centre, due to open in just a few weeks at the former St Martin’s Clinic behind Chester Market. The new centre will provide a shared space for Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Housing Team, Probation Services and local charities to work together and support people under one roof.

Female bodies are capable of amazing things male bodies aren't. Conflating strongest and fastest (in crude sports terms) with "most capable" is patriarchal thinking - as though everything women offer, endure and create is passive and doesn't count
The more we try to control our thoughts and feelings, the more we create resistance to what naturally shows up. Let go of control and embrace what comes, while moving in a meaningful direction.
@boomerredpill@justin_garson A diagnosis meant I finally accessed support, and am understanding of why I function/respond in a certain way, which allows me to better manage my health and therefore life.
@boomerredpill@justin_garson "Choose wisely". So are you saying that for those who experience mental ill health it is due to their life choices? I had all those things you mentioned for decades yet still became progressively more unwell.

@commaficionado Interesting. I have a lot of questions relating to executive dysfunction and coping in the work place, but as I have been to work today I don't have the energy to ask them.
Can you help? We are looking for donations of water-based food from our Amazon wish list below. We’d also love any donations of toiletries from the list, as well as new men’s underwear. Thank you 😊
