@toilet_doll Which is absolutely fair and your choice. At the end of the day, abolishing it or at the very least, clarification is what would help us all and none of us can do that, only the government can. I wish you luck and safety out there, whatever you choose to make🖤🤝
If you're on the fence about the so called extreme porn categories legislation, its worth considering that one side of the people discussing this are asking questions and open to more information and are willing to be proven wrong. The other side are not and are villainising anyone who disagrees.
Throughout history, one of these sides in each argument, conflict and so on have turned out to be detrimental to almost everyone regardless of which issue was at hand. Reliably so.
Remember what you've learned. Be willing to learn more.
@Truelove1771 Also very true yes. Unfortunately the law isnt going to stop those people doing it, its actually going to stop them taking photographic evidence of them doing it to another person lol.
@toilet_doll Note they've also mentioned compressing someones chest aswell. They're examples they've given to illustrate what *could* count. They havent explicitly stated thats all it covers.
No shade btw, I appreciate you discussing it and how it reads to you 🖤
I understood what you meant, the problem is that they're saying it could, for example. And that what actually depicts suffocation in a pornographic image would be up to a court of law to decide. Which was bolstered by the MP who ammended it saying the same. So its broader than just covering the nose and mouth. Anything that looks like it could restrict or stop someones breathing could potentially fall under this.
@SocietySinners Well said. Im wondering 1) why the people who are for it are supporting it when theres no real evidence to back it up
2) where the line is - what it would take the gov banning for them to realise censorship of this kind isnt such a good thing
There seems to be confusion in the industry about what the extreme porn law actually says and some seem to think in regards to suffocation that only images showing covering the hand and mouth of another are banned. This isn't true.

No one should go to jail for raping a minor if there is 'consent'.
