@Liathetrader@ShannenPill If you go this route, just make sure to get the baby exposed to what they miss out on coming through the birth canal. I had to do it for my daughter because she was breeched & the doctors couldn't turn her. There's a lot of health benefits to a natural birth, but it can be rough.
@Jason I'm not having a heart attack and calling out to Elizabeth but I think I did tear and inguinal hernia that I had repaired in 1997. Still, worth it.
@DefiyantlyFree I need a longer list since I have all of these checked off so I will add:
-Start a company.
-Get involved in local politics, even if it's the parks department or school board.
-Be of service to your community, and do it with your children.
-Plant a garden.
-Raise chickens.
@Liathetrader@internetarchiva One of the cool things about having kids is you get to make a whole new list of things you want to do! Looking forward to your continued adventures!
@realpeteyb123 Amen! Haven't had a drink in 6 years, since my wife was pregnant with our first born. The benefits appear in every aspect of my life, and of great importance is that I'm the one that broke the cycle in my family. My children will never suffer what I went through.
@realpeteyb123@BritHugoboom I'll never black pill on NYC. Fuck em. I did move out to raise my kids with more nature and open skies, but we visit for weeks at a time and being a tourist in my home town is kind of cool. So many things I never did in 4 decades of living there, I do when we visit.
