- psychiatry also has an unreal amount of paperwork, report writing, letters etc
- there is a greatly increasing number of non-medics in medic vibe roles (google MPAC for a flavour)
- psych is also hard full tim

Hundreds of final year med students have been told there isn’t yet a job for them.

We are concerned that they may only get three weeks notice of where they are working.

If we treat new doctors like this, they will leave the NHS. Time for @wesstreeting to take some action!

Lastly, I just feel sorry for those people who would make excellent psychiatrists of the future, who are not able to because of an arbitrary and disconnected exam, and who are passed over in favour of uncommitted and inappropriate candidates.

@SkyHelpTeam I am a doctor supporting a patient with a serious mental illness who has been charged £600 as an early cancellation fee (of less than 2 weeks), who was unwell at the time of this call taking place - I need to speak to someone to hopefully rectify this urgently!
