The problem is not that only 1% pay the entire income tax which is 35% of the total tax revenues & pay 40% GST.

There are 2 bigger problems.

1st, that 1% don't want to pay tax. They will take early retirement, migrate, stop growing, etc.

Accused Officer (AO-1) Rathod Vittal, Executive Engineer, Irrigation Department, #Adilabad was caught by the ACB, Adilabad Range unit, when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.60,000/- from the Complainant through AO-2 Rupavathi Ramesh, Assistant Engineer, Irrigation Department for showing official favour, for issuing No Objection Certificate (NOC) by the Irrigation Department to enable the Complainant and his brothers to construct poultry farm on their agricultural land at Sonal village, Adilabad district.

The tainted bribe amount of Rs.60,000/- was recovered from the possession.

Both the accused will be produced before the Special Judge for SPE & ACB cases, Karimnagar for Judicial remand.
