@Laura_Scott@SurreyRoadCops@Callad75 Ok. Good chat. I am not an endurance or regular cyclist- I am a fair weather leisure cyclist. I am a driver too but I love cycling.
@SurreyRoadCops@Laura_Scott@Callad75 Ok thanks but all I am saying is use your judgement, respect other users and put own safety first especially if a cyclist.
@Laura_Scott@CromptonHoward 'Other than the bus...' so why risk your safety- pull back - that is all I am saying. Be safe as they are in a motor vehicle. It is for each road user to use judgment. You can drive/ride on the other side of the road. Not illegal. But not safe when oncoming traffic. Pull back.
@Laura_Scott@Callad75 Yes you are entitled but for own safety I was taught to pull back into single file when motor vehicle coming. It's not about rights. Just safety and sharing the road space.
@CromptonHoward@Laura_Scott So as to respect other road users, for own safety and it is in the Highway Code. It was drummed into me when I was a kid. Our roads are not wide enough.
