🚨Given the current forecast for Cullman this weekend, we want to advise all coaches that weather conditions may impact the schedule of events for the Class 1A-3A state track meet, particularly, but not limited to, competitions scheduled for early Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. While we hope that no issues arise, it’s wise to prepare for potential changes due to inclement weather now. We highly recommend that coaches with athletes competing in events early Friday afternoon/evening consider arriving at the stadium early. This approach will allow for flexibility in case schedule adjustments are needed. While there is no guarantee that weather will or will not affect the event, for the athlete’s sake, its better to err on the side of caution as you plan your arrival.
We will continue to monitor this situation as the week progresses. Please check the AHSAA website, social media pages, and Dragonfly emails for future announcements and/or changes affecting the event.
