What you need is a safe space to express your feelings. You’ll quickly learn how not everything you feel is valid every time, and it’s okay. It’s a process. Social media is rarely your safe space. Don’t bottle your emotions.

everyone validates their biases but the funny ones are the men who are always quick to tell other men how they should never open up and bottle their feelings with every new topic.

You won’t get it right all the time. Opening up has an element of selfishness to it, and you need to embrace the full spectrum of your emotions. If you like, bottle it up because of twitter opinions. If you die, you will just die

But it’s always a good thing to express your views anyway, you get to see other perspectives, and even if you don’t accept it in the present, because of your ego, it goes a long way to shape your opinions in future

You also don’t need to perform infallibility. Change your mind as many times as possible if you have to. “Hypocrisy” is a word people use to stunt growth. Grow shamelessly

By the way, don’t stop tweeting what you strongly believe in. There’s someone reading your tweet and internalizing everything you say. Even when you don’t realise it, you are making a difference by just saying something.

what you need to figure out is if you are a good or bad influence, but you are an influence regardless and you really don’t have a moral duty to be a good influence anyway

in whatever form you exist, you deserve love, you do not need to “qualify” for love, especially financially. Any love that commodifies itself to find you worthy of it does not deserve you

if you exist as a human being, you deserve love, and you can absolutely be in a relationship with another human being that also exists

your primary goal is not to shoulder their responsibility, it is to nurture a love that you both share

everytime people talk about the great things they have benefitted from Twitter, the friendships, the opportunities etc, you can’t help but see that it’s just their way of justifying their addiction 😅

But after a while you have to look inwards and ask yourself why the most you can say is always “this is such a dishonest take”
