▪️Impending Hate Speech Laws
Ireland's proposed new hate speech laws have been getting a lot of international attention and not all good. Elon Musk, @elonmusk and Donald Trump Jr, @DonaldJTrumpJr have weighed in, effectively warning Ireland against bringing them in.
The Bill has been labelled as the ‘Thought Crime Bill’ - a reference to the novel '1984' by George Orwell which described a dystopian society where thinking was monitored.
However everyone from Sinn Féin to Leo Varadkar seems in favour. The Criminal Justice (Incitement to Violence or Hatred and Hate Offences) Bill 2022 was approved by 110 votes to 14, with the 110 "yes" votes including Sinn Féin, Labour, the Green Party, Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil.
The 'No' votes came from People Before Profit, alongside Aontú and several independents.
The Bill seeks to "amend the law relating to the prohibition of incitement to violence or hatred against a person, or a group of persons, on account of certain characteristics of the person, or the group”.
These “protected characteristics” are a) race, (b) colour, (c) nationality, (d) religion, (e) national or ethnic origin, (f) descent, (g) gender, (h) sex characteristics (i) sexual orientation or (j) disability.
This is the Bill’s definition of what "gender" means:
"The gender which a person expresses as the person’s preferred gender, or with which the person identifies, and includes transgender, and a gender other than those of male and female".
We observe some media playing down the impact of these new laws and we see some saying this is very dangerous.
▪️Joining us tonight to discuss both sides are Independent TD Michael Fitzmaurice for Roscommon & Galway who voted NO and Dessie Ellis, Sinn Féin TD for Dublin North West who voted YES.
Ireland is about to pass one of the most radical hate speech bills yet. Merely possessing "hateful" material on your devices is enough to face prison time.
Not only that, but the burden of proof is shifted to the accused, who is expected to prove they didn't intend to use the material to "spread hate". This clause is so radical that even the Trotskyist People Before Profit opposed it as a flagrant violation of civil liberties. Dark times.
The sum of all fears for globalist technocrats is happening RIGHT NOW in France.
The French firefighters and riot police have now JOINED the protesters to stand against tyrant World Economic Forum muppet Emanuel Macron.
Globalists on life support.
Coming to your city soon…
Can I publicly ask @DrTonyHolohan if (A) He has any comment on todays piece in the Irish Independent and (B) Does stand over all decisions made by NPHET while he was there? https://t.co/MWRA9dmWfp
This week countries will begin negotiations on a "'Zero Draft' of the new Pandemic Accord."
We must do all in our power to unite with our friends across the world to push back against this power grab by the unelected WHO.

Foreign man dragged young girl into van two nights ago in Dublin, only for her neighbours in the flat complex she wouldn’t have escaped.
The man’s van was burnt out by locals.
