In all seriousness, if you think the labs' IPOs will mark the beginning of the end, you basically have 6-12 months to print- which means you continue to crowd SOX/memory. Don't need to overcomplicate it with fundies, etc. even if you are a bear.
@phl43 Re Handoff: At the end of an exploratory conversation with ChatGPT, once you have something you like, tell it to summarize that into instructions for an agent. Depending on what it is you may ask for implementation steps, a data model, or write up of a statistical method, etc.
@justinskycak I'm doing LA and getting DM review questions even though I don't have "holistic mode" enabled.
Should it be that way? Since holistic allows " lower-course lessons to be served", and since it's disabled, I don't quite get why I'm seeing these questions pop up.
@ninja_maths During MF III, I found the multi-step problems considerably harder due to their free-response questions. With multiple response, you start to incorporate optimizations/shortcuts by looking at the answers. No such thing with free-response.
@TimBeiko@fastdotai@_MathAcademy_ is fantastic if you want to learn/relearn math. It's real work though - not to be done casually.
It figures out where you're at via an initial diagnostics test, then feeds you content and problems adaptively based on your progress, tracking your progress
@_MathAcademy_ Soon finishing MF III and won't be starting a new course for a few weeks.
During that time would like to do 20-30 daily XP without expanding my knowledge frontier, just doing recall.
Is this possible? Some sort of "low metabolism" maintenance mode
@justinskycak@gabemays@_MathAcademy_ Hmm. After changing my course to MF III and completing the diagnostic, I still have exclusively Math-ML lessons in my list on the main screen. It does say I'm in MFIII now, but my completion for MFIII is marked as 100%. (The diagnostic email says I have 80% mastery).
Any clues?
@gabemays@_MathAcademy_@justinskycak could you confirm if this works? Finished MF III yesterday, seems like I automatically got assigned into Math-ML.
Would like to change course to MF III per above idea, but want to be sure it doesn't wipe my knowledge graph and make me start from zero...
@ninja_maths another content question. how does AA have two possible parents ? That there isn't much (any) overlap between Linear Algebra and Methods of Proof, so I'm confused as to how either/or are prereqs.
