New TSMP: EXERCISE AS MIRACLE DRUG

Two big studies in the last 12 months:

1. Euan Ashley, the chair of medicine at Stanford, and a team of bioinformatics researchers put rats on treadmills, cut into their tissues, and found that exercise basically improved every measurable system, including metabolism, mitochondrial function, immunity, inflammation, and tissue-specific adaptation. He has estimated that "one minute of exercise, on average, extends one's life by five minutes."

2. In a recent NEJM study, 900 patients who had undergone surgery on their advanced colon cancer were randomly assigned to two groups: a “structured exercise program" vs. a control group. The exercise group saw “significantly” more years without cancer, a 7 percentage point increase in the overall survival rate after 8 years, and a dramatic reduction in new primary cancers.

The MAHA movement, and RFK's weird antagonism toward vaccines and therapies, has polarized aspects of healthy living as anti-science woo-woo, in some circles, But exercise is probably the single most potent medical invention ever devised—more broadly effective, at a population level, than any medicine discovered in the natural world or created in a laboratory.

Suomessa ei ymmärretä, että hyvinvointi tulee yksityisen sektorin uusista työpaikoista, ei julkisilla varoilla kustannettujen byrokraattien palkoista. Pienet firmat tekee työpaikkoja ja isot (valitettavasti usein) niitä leikkaa. Kun insentiivit on et joka euro jolla sä myyt sun palveluja, niin sä saat siitä 25 senttiä käteen, niin ei ihme ettei jengiä kiinnosta laittaa omaa puljua pystyyn. Tai herran jumala, palkata ketään. Mikroyrittäjän fiilis on, ja ihan ymmärrettävästi, et valtio ryöstää, oli se kuinka laillista tahansa. Lisäksi meidän yhteiskunnan asenne yrittäjiä kohtaan on on ihan vammanen; heti jos joku vähä menestyy niin sitä ollaan kivittämässä. Kateudesta. Meillä pitäis olla valtion rahoilla kustannettu työpaikka gaala, jonne kutsutaan kaikki ketkä ovat luoneet yli kymmenen uutta työpaikkaa!! - SpaceX has created access to low cost broadband internet to anywhere in the world because we are very spoiled in the west (Most of the world does not have cable that runs to their homes like we do in the west)
- He has literally reduced the cost of going into space x10 compared to what the federal government was doing with NASA showing extreme efficiency (And he did so as a private in the private sector, which no one thought was possible before)
- SpaceX is the highest valued company in the US and maybe even the world at 350 billion
- He started X AI only a year ago, and it's already valued at $78 billion and is the most advanced AI in the world connecting more Nvidia GPUs than anyone previously thought possible (Again, doing something that no one previously thought possible and he did all of this in about a sixth of a time that it took any of the magnificent seven or leading tech AI companies. So again, extreme efficiency)
- He single-handedly saved free speech in the west by buying Twitter, and X is valued at 44 billion
- He cut 80% of the X workforce and increased gross margins by 4x in profitability. Profitability by 2.5x (And yes, we all know that revenue declined because he stood for free speech. So he lost advertising dollars, but he saved free speech. So thanks)
- This doesn't even touch Neuralink, which is valued at 8 billion
- The boring company, which is valued at 7 billion
- Tesla robots or the Hyperloop at Neuralink
- He's literally working to cure blindness, paralysis and working to allow communication with people who were previously unable to communicate
- He's solving traffic congestion and reimagining our transportation, making that again, more efficient

And while he's doing all of this, he's literally
