Pequot Library Trustees’ Names Sought in FOI Request

Southport, Connecticut — An FOI request has been submitted to the Pequot Library Association seeking the names of the library’s Board of Trustees officers—president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary—for the period August 1, 2015 through December 31, 2024.

The request relates to a malicious prosecution civil case in Bridgeport Superior Court against the Pequot Library Association of the Pequot Library in Southport, CT. A trespass case initiated by the trustees was dismissed by both the prosecutor and the presiding judge in May 2022.

The complaint alleges that the trespass charge was brought to cover-up menacing and threatening actions by members of the Library’s staff beginning in August 2015 in conjunction with other individuals unknown at this time. Berry’s point of view based on many experiences is that Library staff were enlisted to participate in targeting of him for his investigative journalism activities and related social media posts about crime and corruption throughout the Connecticut legal system. Berry also claims that as part of the misinformation spread by the Library to cover-up its own wrongdoing and disparaging of him, the Library spread disinformation about the suspicious death of children’s librarian Susan Ei who the plaintiff alleges had been stalking him as a part of the Library’s targeting and would have been a key witness.

The FOI request seeks to identify individuals who trustee Douglas Fried told Fairfield police officers initiated the trespass complaint to be named as defendants along with former executive director Stephanie Coakley. Within a couple of weeks after serving of the summons at the Library, director Coakley resigned.

I'm certainly not in favor of threatening judges, nor doxxing them. I am however for exposing crimes and corruption of judges, as I've been doing in Connecticut, especially in relation to the Bridgeport Superior Court where I've been pursuing civil cases for years exposing crimes and corruption of law enforcement, FBI associates and accomplices, and others. Judging from my experiences, it's more dangerous to report the truth about certain judges than maliciously threaten them. As I regularly remark, it's idiotic and counter-productive to threaten judges when there's plenty around who should rightfully be exposed with concrete evidence supporting this. I'm waiting for an article or two at least once in a while from a judge about what should be done about obviously criminal and corrupt judges.

BRIDGEPORT SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE CHARLES REED DISCLOSES FBI INTERFERENCE IN COURT CASES

On Monday (Dec. 1), I appeared in Bridgeport Superior Court for a hearing on my motion to recuse Judge Charles Reed in my malicious-prosecution case against the Pequot Library and the Town of Fairfield.

What happened was unnerving and revealing. At a prior hearing, Judge Reed instantaneously and strongly reacted the moment I mentioned the FBI while speaking to him. What I saw in his eyes was what I would call a look of fear. It looked as if his hands shook as he gripped some papers in front of him to regain his composure.

I have repeatedly on social media as an independent investigative journalist been reporting FBI subversive, malicious interference in my various cases over the years as indicated by serial fabrication of evidence, perjury, witness intimidation, tampering with witnesses, and other crimes and corruption along with various antics of defendants, police officers, lawyers, and judges. But judge Reed's pronounced reaction was the first time what was going on in the background surfaced distinctly and indelibly.

I filed my motion for recusal to give judge Reed the chance to protect himself. As I explained to him in the hearing, I was bringing serious allegations against the Pequot Library and Town of Fairfield in my lawsuit; and accordingly as I was seeing, the FBI was escalating its targeting of me and no doubt increasing its intimidation of its accomplices—some of whom were defendants—to remain silent and continue to defame me, tamper with evidence, etc.

If judge Reed recuses himself, he will probably put himself in a position where he will no longer have to fear the FBI. Although as presiding judge, he may still have some role in how my case proceeds. If he does not recuse himself, as he was saying, it's unlikely he would have a part in my case since it has been assigned to judge Jason Welch.

We'll see how things go. One thing is certain though: The FBI is no longer anonymously, subversively, and malevolently affecting my cases as it has been for so long.

I generally agree with the psychodynamics described in the article. What is more disturbing to me however as an independent investigative journalist in Connecticut exposing and posting online about crime and corruption throughout the legal system is secretive and subversive FBI activity. I became targeted big-time for the FBI when the FBI was colluding with the Hillary Clinton operation in the Russia collusion hoax when I began shedding light on the connection between the Hillary Clinton favorite Democratic governor Dannell Malloy and crimes and corruption at the Pullman and Comley law firm, a major donor and operative in the Connecticut Democratic Party. As I put it, in its targeting of me, the FBI was auditioning for Clinton as to what it could do for her if (when) she became president; in my case, keeping political ally and virtually certain Clinton Cabinet member Malloy free from scandal. The FBI's code of Omerta enables it to act secretively and subversively with only occasional glimpses into its subversive, politically ambitious activities; which activities are mostly dismissed as "conspiracy theories" and/or drowned out by a concerted p. r. campaign like Kash Patel is engaging in at this time.

"People like Trump and Putin are not politicians; they are artists who create alternate realities." (David Brooks, NYTimes, 11/07/25) This goes with a recent thought of mine about the FBI who sees me as a terrorist for my independent investigative journalism in Connecticut into crime and corruption throughout the legal system: The effects of the misinformation, performance, spectacle, and such are not eclipsing reality or creating an alternate reality, but supplanting reality as a given like a birthright which is more or less a standard for the large majority. In other words, the unbridled authoritarians are creating a fantasy. This is a different take on the same phenomena as Brooks looks at in investigation not only into my own experiences of being targeted by the FBI, but also what the FBI was trying to do (which succeeded for a time, and was in fact effective though not lasting as a ruse or fantasy) in the Russia collusion hoax and the Hunter Biden laptop coverup.

Or in the case of judges at the Bridgeport Superior Court (Connecticut), taking obvious fabricated evidence from obvious unsavory, lying witnesses as "true" because of intimidation by the FBI and/or fear and/or worry about my accusations built on my activities as an independent investigative journalist. This is the next topic I'll be writing about in my social media posts, among others, i.e.,generally AI or AI-like fakes in the legal system. Judges at the Bridgeport Superior Court are timely and perfect exemplars of how this works.

As I have found — and continue to encounter — in my independent investigative journalism in Connecticut into crime and corruption throughout the legal system bleeding into surrounding institutions and accomplices, canceling, or to put it in others terms, the code of Omerta, is coming more and more into practice and having wider, distorting, and malevolent effects as surveillance technology advances and is implemented. How were the Russia collusion hoax and the illusion that Biden was mentally and physically able initiated and perpetrated successfully for so long without Omerta? Along with Omerta goes the growing sophistication of in fact creating what is surveilled, as in AI visual fakes. I've seen a lot of this in my civil cases in Connecticut, with judges especially at the Bridgeport Superior Court variously suckers for it or in effect enthusiasts or promoters of it. This is not conspiracy theory.

Blumenthal should be investigated for knowledge of and/or relationship to the widespread crime and corruption I've been exposing for years in Connecticut as an independent investigative journalist targeted by the FBI originally for my exposures of crimes and corruption of individuals and the Pullman and Comley law firm who are major donors and players of the state Democratic Party and in recent years crimes and corruption I have encountered throughout the legal system.

This deference automatically given to Trump by so many including judges who are supposed to and presumed to be exercising rationality, attention to facts, some historical perspective, and impartiaity is like the "officers of the court" anointment given to lawyers using this to peddle lies and mutate facts so that the legal profession has become a career path for pathological liars. I'm seeing this over and over in the Connecticut court system, particularly at the Bridgeport Superior Court, where judges ratify obviously fabricated evidence, successively submitted perjurious affidavits attempting to cover-up affidavits previously submitted by accomplices, and widening rings of crime and corruption as new players are brought into the criminal schemes. With the judges and lawyers in place, the Bridgeport, Connecticut, legal system is the largest, best-funded, and most unaccountable system for creating criminals conceivable. It's good that judge Immergut in Oregon has done something to try to put an end to such distortion of reality.

Jones pushes the envelope: Trump said his supporters would stay loyal even if he openly shot someone on Fifth Avenue. Jones now brings death wishes to an opponent's children into the scenario, presumably after Jones finished off the father with two bullets to the head. Maybe he was speaking aspirationally. In any event, Jones has now identified himself as an individual such as a possible school shooter or assassin who has made threatening-like statements and who has exhibited mental problems. To start with, does Jones own any guns? If so, they should be taken away immediately. And he should be prevented from purchasing any firearm. Also, he should be flagged in local police databases of potential political terrorists or possible, self-admitted killers.
