Thank you Prof Derek Peterson @Unseen_Archive for this piece of nicely curated collection of our history. Thank you also for the brief excursion in our National History, very valuable insights.
A teraz spójrz tutaj!”
Starszy. Inteligentniejszy).
Dedykuję wszystkim moim starszym przyjaciołom.
Czas zwolnić i cieszyć się resztą podróży.

Enjoy India. I was there as a young Law/LDC Graduate in 2001 at the India National Human Rights Commission for an Internship. It is at the Parliament Avenue in New Delhi.
Dear Fellow Citizens,
I arrived in New Delhi today for the 12th BRICS Parliamentary Forum, which runs from 26 to 27 October under the theme “Fostering Parliaments for People-Centric Development.”
I am joined by the Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Joel Ssenyonyi (Nakawa West), Hon. Betty Nakisita Mpongo (Namutumba District), Hon. Sowedi Ismail Mulemya (Busia Municipality) and Hon. Annet Katusiime Mugisha (Bushenyi District). Government and Opposition are here together for Uganda’s national interest.
As a BRICS partner country, our delegation will contribute to discussions on building strong institutions, how to ensure sustainable development and a fairer global governance, digital innovation and human-centred artificial intelligence.
This all because we have placed our people at the centre of the legislative agenda of the 12th Parliament.

This boda man! So he starts conversation and tells me he once carried a pretty plump lady and they got to a pub where the lady said she had to wait for someone to bring her money. She promised to add 10k to what they had agreed. She sat and started drinking while he remained on his boda. After a while, she went to him and apologised for keeping him bored. She invited him to drink with her. They drunk, then later got up and started dancing. “Yansaba munyige sikwiizi, era namunyiga nga sirina gwenebuuzizzaako. Namunyiga nzenna nentuyana nga bwenebaza Mukama ekisa kyankoledde”. They later went back and sat. That’s when his head started rotating. He regained consciousness to find himself in hospital, and the bike gone. “Paka kati nkyasasula loan muganda wange”.
I couldn’t hold back the laughter. He turned and said to me: “Blaaza osese busesi?”
Dear Dr. Tendo,
Please accept my revolutionary Pan-African greetings from Kigali, Rwanda. I am writing to inform you that, I have returned home safely and I want to thank you for the opportunity to participate in the Afrika Mashariki Fest. While we faced some challenges, I was focused on the opportunity that the fest offers. I had the opportunity to meet a lot of great minds and like minded young Africans whom I have established contact with and exploring possibilities of working together for the Africa We Want. You're doing a very great job and I want to urge you to not feel distracted by anything because a lot of us still look up to you for directions and mentorship. We must not let this dream die. A vision can be interrupted but it must never die, as a professional project manager, I will be here willing to offer my service in any way I can.
Best Regards,
Isaac Supu - Liberia

THIS story, the editor feels demands attention:
"The growing difficulty of staying healthy amid financial hardships, stress, poor diets, and limited access to routine medical care..."
@observerug .
On ctober 8, 2026, Alex Bagada, the Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions and Head of the Homicide Division, reportedly walked into a sauna in Bugolobi, Kampala, for what appeared to be an ordinary relaxation session.
By the following morning, however, the senior prosecutor was lying unconscious in a bush in Wakaliga, his mobile phones and personal belongings missing, and what would later emerge as a reported Shs129 million loss from his bank account.
At the centre of this extraordinary sequence of events is an unidentified woman whom police are now seeking to trace.
According to sources familiar with the investigation, Bagada met the woman at the sauna, where the two struck up a conversation before reportedly agreeing to extend their evening to Alchemist Bar in Bugolobi.
What began as a sauna encounter allegedly progressed to drinks, followed by a decision to book a place at a nearby facility.
Bagada reportedly left his vehicle, registration number UBK 031D, in the bar’s parking lot and entered the woman’s car.
From that point, his recollection of the evening reportedly comes to an abrupt end.
The next chapter of the story unfolded several kilometres away, near Lubiri Secondary School in Wakaliga, where passersby reportedly found the senior prosecutor lying unconscious in a bush during the early hours of October 9, Uganda’s Independence Day.
The passersby initially feared they had discovered a dead man and alerted police.
Officers who responded to the scene established that Bagada was still alive and rushed him to Mulago Hospital for treatment.
He was later transferred to Case Clinic, where he reportedly regained consciousness and discovered that the night’s alleged losses extended beyond his missing phones, wallet and National ID.
According to sources familiar with the case, by the time Bagada secured access to his accounts and blocked his mobile phone numbers, approximately Shs129 million had reportedly been withdrawn from one of his bank accounts through mobile banking.
The account was allegedly left with a balance of about Shs570 million.
For a senior prosecutor whose professional responsibilities include overseeing homicide prosecutions, the encounter had taken an unusual turn: he was now the complainant in a criminal investigation rather than the official handling a prosecution.
Investigators suspect that the unidentified woman may have worked with accomplices, although police have not publicly established who was involved or how the alleged financial transactions were executed.
ChimpReports has obtained two police correspondences confirming that detectives are investigating allegations of aggravated robbery involving Bagada.
In a letter dated October 12, 2026, Kampala Metropolitan Police CID Commander D/SSP Milton Birungi Beigumamu wrote to the Commissioner of the Cyber Crime Unit at Police Headquarters, requesting forensic assistance to retrieve CCTV footage from Alchemist Bugolobi.
“This headquarters is investigating allegations of Aggravated Robbery to the prejudice of Mr. BAGADA ALEX attached to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions by unknown persons,” the letter reads.
The correspondence, referenced NATEETE CRB 1076/2026, indicates that detectives identified private CCTV cameras at the establishment and obtained the proprietor’s consent to access the recordings.
A second letter dated October 13, addressed to the management of Alchemist Bugolobi by the Natete Division CID Officer, confirms that Bagada was sighted at the establishment on the night of October 8, extending into October 9.

Mbu Muhoozi sent Kabanda a message saying, “We’re going to change the Speaker.” At the time, Kabanda was seated with Anita Among, with her husband, Magogo, by her side.
Kabanda reportedly looked at the couple and asked, “Can I please go?”
Politics is truly the devil’s work! 😂😂
In Louisiana, Black women were put in cells with male prisoners and some became pregnant. In 1848, legislators passed a new law declaring that all children born in the penitentiary of #AfricanAmerican parents serving life sentences would be property of the state.
The women would raise the kids until the age of ten, at which point the penitentiary would place an ad in the newspaper. Thirty days later, the children would be auctioned off on the courthouse steps, "cash on delivery."
The proceeds were used to fund schools for white children; many of the Black children were purchased by prison officials.

57 years after President Kenyatta’s bodyguards opened fire in Kisumu, the memory of that afternoon remains embedded in Nyanza’s politics.
Yet its aftermath holds a paradox: within eight years, Oginga Odinga was exploring accommodation with powerful figures in the establishment that had detained him and destroyed his party. https://t.co/RugJuA7j8x
