've been trying to work on this for free and attempting to avoid engaging with current perceptions in the landscape, but I think that's been a mistake. We need people from the blockchain space to help develop with me. We need to figure out how to navigate this space safely, and we need someone who can build fast and hard.

Timelines are less favorable by the day. We need to implement a graph we've been designing. People don't like it, but blockchain necessarily has to be involved. I've refrained from taking any profits on tokens involved with any project I've contributed towards. We need to address the value of data.

In the future, the raw internet won't be valuable for data. The internet will be polluted with synthetic information from weaker models. People will stop using the internet as much because of access to on-the-fly content that matches their use case. Large-scale models will be worse than prior to training on it, and no amount of classifiers will be able to clean it.

Do we allow the value of our data to continue to be extracted from us for free in a landscape where the entire industry is supported by its value with no payout to the end user? Or do we use this opportunity to build infrastructure that allows us to profit from it?

We can incentivize awareness and comfortable curation of our data. The financial value will be inherent in the industry's need for good, clean data. It can be constructed in a way that's not exploitative, and participation is something that's done with full awareness and consent by the end user. This will result in better models, faster technological growth, a more consumer-focused market, and the avoidance of many social problems with AI.

some things we cant/wont compromise on, this is one of the things where i strongly feel like the most important impact can be made for the social and financial standing of the technology depend upon the right infrastructure coming out with the right timing, before the status quo settles on something thats not in our favor.
