MCP 2026-07-28 is live and it's the largest update to the protocol since launch.
MCP is now stateless, making it easier to deploy and scale remote servers.

It’s also a lot easier to focus on your career if you’re married and your partner is taking care of the house and Kids.
You can’t attribute this to the man, if they only make more money when married you need to attribute the success to those men’s wife’s 🫡
Not to be THAT guy but you literally shared a chart that proves that fact.
What most people don’t understand about AI is that it has a huge second mover advantage.
I can’t think of any industry where it’s better to be the runner up except for AI.
quick update on how this is going: they have gone back to linear because maintaining their internal tool that they vibecoded was taking away from their actual work’s bandwidth.
Try using /grill-me while in plan mode.
You’ll find yourself ditching the plan most likely.
But I ran it outside of plan mode and inside of plan mode and the results in plan mode were usually better, answered more open questions and I didn’t run into issues with loosing context.
Example:
I used grill-me to fix a resync/data staleness issue in our internal dashboard software.
We are pulling a lot of data so it takes a while to create the reports.
I don’t mind if the user (which is an internal team member) has to wait for the report to be generated but I wanted it to be instant for the client when they open it.
Using /grill-me without plan mode ended up in the agent also fixing a separate dashboard (which was still work in progress and didn’t need fixes)
When I tried it in plan mode (new session, no shared context)
The /grill-me session found the other dashboard and asked me about that one as well.
I know it’s a very specific usecase but it shows how plan mode spends more time exploring the code base and finding potential issues whereas no default mode has a bias to action. @mattmatters did a great job at pointing agents in the right direction but since he had to overwrite the harness it’s always a struggle.
Pretty sure he pointed that out himself recently
