I had a dream that the pillows from MyPillow were filled with Leberkäse and my friends and I had to open a pillow and eat some to see what kind of meat was in there
I browsed an old bookmarks collection this week and some links go all the way back to the 2000s. Last time I browsed was in 2020 and most of the collection was intact. This time around, if the content isn’t paywalled, you need an account, you need ads, or the links are broken,
but the content is still available, but you have to perform a manual search process (this was the purpose of moving Twitter to X) effectively breaking communication. Or it’s just gone.
For those of us who are writers and readers, I noticed that a lot of folks aren't familiar with the rich canon of Palestinian literature and don't know where to begin reading. In response to this, down below is a thread of novels, non-fiction, and poetry about Palestine (🧵):
We're publishing a third installment of messages from Gaza, collected and translated by the Institute for Palestine Studies (@PalStudies).
We hope you'll read and share these letters to hear from Palestinians firsthand as they face IDF attacks.

⚠️ HAPPENING NOW AT NYC'S GRAND CENTRAL STATION: THOUSANDS OF JEWS AND ALLIES HOLD AN EMERGENCY SIT-IN, DEMANDING A CEASEFIRE IN GAZA. WE'RE TAKING OVER THE GRAND CONCOURSE. WE'RE REFUSING TO ALLOW A GENOCIDE BE CARRIED OUT IN OUR NAMES. CEASEFIRE NOW! NEVER AGAIN FOR ANYONE! ⚠️
It's October again.
Several years ago, in October, I lost someone very, very dear to me to an accidental fentanyl overdose. She was my friend, my metamour, my partner in magic, and my recovery buddy. Someone can be so many things when you love them.
This is a poem for her.
