Congratulations to the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire, @HSCambs, for completing his trek along the @HerewardWay in extremely difficult weather conditions.
@pborocathedral @HSCambs @Ely_Cathedral@HerewardCountry Congratulations @HSCambs on completing two days trekking along the #HerewardWay. Given the extremely windy conditions and the and the challenge of the route itself, particularly this time of the year, it really was quite some achievement. Well done to you both!
Welcome to Peterborough! The weary travellers @HSCambs have arrived and are heading into the Cathedral for prayers, followed by tea and cake. @Ely_Cathedral@HerewardWay@HerewardCountry
@HSCambs @Ely_Cathedral@pborocathedral@HerewardCountry Well done, it is tough open terrain and in the current conditions it is quite a remarkable achievement. Tomorrow is an easier path (though it has its moments!) and a shorter trek. Bravo!
Tomorrow Lily and complete our journey round the county with a Lenten Pilgrimage between @Ely_Cathedral and @pborocathedral following the ancient Hereward Way, a walk of 40 miles over two days with an overnight stay in March. The weather isn't great but adds to the challenge!
