I got badly depressed and anxious and my whole body was shaking so badly that I could hardly take my exam.
Can somebody please listen to me next time I'm talking about my brain and body please?ππ
I just remembered I've made a post about starting antidepressants the one month ago and I forgot to make an update about that so here it is.
Did they work?
Hahaha! Absolutely not.
I stopped the meds because of serotonin syndrome symptoms that I had.
@dreamsofskies I always tell myself that skills are like numbers. The more you learn the bigger number you'll have. It might not looks like you need it at the moment but maybe one comes in handy and even if it doesn't. It makes me happy at the moment so it's doing the job it's supposed to do
@Letterstomyname I just accept I can't finish my todo list so I go to my todo list saying "meh... I'm bored. Let's just do something." Or if I have to be somewhere but don't feel like it. I promise myself to buy my favorite snacks or some stationary on the way homeπ

@1hannamooney I lost itπ I just didn't want to keep it in my sight any longer ππ I was like "No No WTH? Back back back back! Tab close! And never open this shi again!"
I can't believe I just read a massage from an " youtube content creator for people with ADHD" saying that you should struggle with your adhd in private and nobody needs to know about it.
Excuse me? My symptoms are not private so how am I supposed to struggle is private?!
@S_A_Delaney @amboinreallife They probably finds it find for themselves to talk about maybe because they think it's their profession of something. Just hope they are not a coach and they don't have clients.
@aschemehorn Unfortunately no exact handle. It was a "ask questions and get answers" kind of platform and his heading said "adhd youtube content creator" and it just sound so strange and at the same time funny to me π it's not the first time I'm reading these kind of answers to these same q
@ADHDdesigner I'm so sure they are. I'm just shocked that he was not the only one saying this thing and almost everyone were answering the question with the almost same answer. "Oh nobody needs to know. Why you wanna tell them? So they pity you?!" And I'm like WTH?!
It might sound simple and obvious but there might be people out there who need to hear this:
It's okay if you are ADHDer
And it's okay if you tell people that you are.
People's reaction to this information is not your problem. Leave them be
Reading tweet, arts, posts, etc from NDs makes me feel so... safe.
It's the best feeling to see other understand you.
And even better, they give you tips and tricks.
Tips that work for us.
That God for this great community.
@DiariesAdhd I'm thinking about making rewards like watching one episode from a show after each session can be helpful. Haven't tried it yet though...so I don't know π
Does anyone know any good source for life hacks for adhder athletes?
All I'm finding online is "why sport is amazing for ADHDers" and "how ADHDers have a upper hand in sports" which both scenarios are pretty unhelpful.
