Nigerians reinforcing our chains. If people have to read the room before following company policy inside the company, then the policy is pointless and should be abolished.
HOW IS THIS NOT OBVIOUS????
@ask_thepress @teebizy @ugodre That is definitely an option for them. If memory serves, I believe the 3 foreign banks did that in the last recapitalisation exercise.
@teebizy @ugodre The parent bank (Standard Bank of South Africa) owns the banks across Africa, such that the individual banks such as StanbicIBTC don’t require an international license.
The subs in each country have National licenses & the parent has an « international » licence in SA.

Think, every day, something no one else is thinking.
Do, every day, something no one else would be silly enough to do.

@CitrousKid@kaybaxx@UNCLE_AJALA Would It be safe to assume that he would go for whatever is more efficient and increases his profits? If trains are a reality, I don’t expect resistance from these people you mentioned.
@firsNigeria The only thing missing from this tweet is « yo mamma »
I honestly don’t know which is the bigger issue: Federal Agencies sparring on SM or the quality of communications they put out on SM. 😪
@kronikls@TunjiDisu1 The safer option is never to click on any link even if you believe it’s from your bank.
Banks don’t send action links but in the event they do, manually go to their website or online banking to take the action.
@ifeanyiabiodun@SeunEsq Unfortunately taxes don’t work that way. The Govt would assess you on the deemed/expected rent in that area if the declared amount is significantly different. It’s better to stop the tax than try to avoid it.
@vineboderek @FinPlanKaluAja1 Thé 30% tax is on profits not income ie {income-expense = profit}. So the tax rate only reduces the entrepreneurs reward but does not threaten the business survival.
Also VAT on sales is not paid by the business but by the customer, bus only collects on behalf of govt. Cool?
@Ege_Osa @Mr_kunlecole Not a mystery bro. 2 things you should consider:
1. There is a lag btw infection & testing. So even if you lock down the whole world, cases would still rise till you have found every infected person.
2. Human Stupidity! As long as EVERYONE isn’t locked down, it’d keep spreading!
@SeunEsq Lekki is too wide. Every ISP performs differently per location so you need to narrow the search to the specific street. That has been my experience with them.
@FinPlanKaluAja1@NEYOKI Truthfully, if revenue isn’t diversified we would always be at the mercy of oil price swings. We’d just prepare for stagflation every now and then 🤷🏽♂️
Also, Thé ECA is a good vehicle outside diversification if we stop using it like a current account.
@FinPlanKaluAja1@NEYOKI The issue: we sell oil in $ but buy literally everything else in $ making devaluation not quite impactful! We don’t have enough non-oil export to make deval worthwhile eg labour cost halving in 2016-18, didn’t create any economic stimulation. Not enough local production!
@Em1_Dube @AfricaFactsZone Not likely. The company won’t sell it in Europe at all cos they’d be breaching safety codes. They’d only make and export immediately!
@KingEsene Thank you for the replies. Do you mind if I come back in a week’s time on this? Id read about the NG’s judicial system and ask any questions after that. Thanks!!!
