Adventure for the Atari VCS was released in 1979 and the brilliance of this game beckoned me to write an extensive summary about the game and it’s impact on game development.

For months, I've been thinking of adding the 🇯🇵 Toyama Lowace 4WD 🚚 to the game. And here it is at last! Timelapsed from concept to playable state. (🔊) #GodotEngine#indiedev#indiegame#lowpoly
I want to do a Spider-Man multi-player multiverse action game that simultaneously uses Spider-Man from all of his past games from Atari 2600, Shinobi, GBA. Arcade, MvC2, Amiga, 32x, etc.
This small image from Holmes Basic is still a powerful reference for my ideas on RPGs.
It's a blend of realism and cartoonish, yet, it really works to convey the feeling of early D&D settings.
I still use it as a touch stone, or mnemonic.

What was so great about these dragons was their empty tummy that you could wiggle around in when eaten. Sometimes the bat would then grab the dragon who ate you and take you on a kingdom tour.

I released an alpha demo for my heroic adventure game. It’s a short vertical slice of gameplay that I’ll be steadily building on.
Check out my #devlog to read and play the demo. Thanks!

Good news: I finally actually made more money working hard doing indie dev in 2022 than I made from just possessing a bunch of invested money!
Bad news: I lost over 20k in investments.
Let's talk #ThrowbackThursday! It took 5 years (I know, right?_) of fine-tuning and sculpting/re-sculpting to get Sak to a character design I was happy with, and there were some mighty tragic versions birthed from the process. It all started at the foot of a sandwich board.

This does look gorgeous but I’ll disagree with you.
Games can be art-like, like architecture is art-like. But games don’t have to be art to be meaningful.
