Update on Paraproteinemia and Kidney Pathologies: Monoclonal vs. Monotypic
This session by Lihong Bu will look at monoclonal vs. monotypic patterns and the renal pathologies we need to recognise.

Next off, we discuss Novel Radioligand Therapies and Nephrotoxicity
This session by @rc_oncneph will focus on these newer therapies and an important question for nephrologists: what do we need to know about their renal effects?

Day 2 of @MayoClinicNeph 2026 Selected Topics in Glomerular Diseases & Kidney Pathology starting off with our fearless leader, Dr. Vesna Garovic, sharing opening remarks highlighting the impact of Mayo Clinic in the field of Nephrology, as well as upcoming courses. Stay tuned!
Starting our afternoon session with a very important topic: Pregnancy Discussion and Planning in Patients with Glomerular Diseases given by our @MayoClinicNeph expert in women’s health, Dr. Andrea Kattah.
Here’s the ASN Onconephrology Program at #KidneyWeek 2026 in Denver.
A full day covering new therapies, kidney complications of cancer treatment, transplant, pathology, immunotherapy, & case-based discussions.
Hope to see many of you there!

What a treat to have Dr. Dario Roccatello from the University of Turin here @MayoClinicNeph to give an update on the Diagnosis & Management of Cryoglobulinemic Vasculitis to a captive audience.
😊🙏🏻Looking forward to joining the Society of Transplantation Singapore (SOT) Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 this Saturday! 🇸🇬
I am incredibly honored to deliver the keynote plenary:
“AI in Transplantation — From Promise to Practice”
During our session, we will explore where AI is already beginning to influence transplantation, including:
🔹 Risk Stratification & Outcomes: Utilizing predictive modeling to improve patient care trajectories
🔹 Advanced Diagnostics: The integration of digital pathology, molecular diagnostics, and biomarkers
🔹 Decision Support: Leveraging multimodal data integration to empower clinicians and support precision medicine
Crucially, we will also discuss what is still needed to move from promising algorithms toward reliable, clinically useful systems that firmly preserve human oversight and ensure patient safety. I look forward to learning from colleagues across the transplant community and discussing how we can translate these advances into safer, more effective care.
A sincere thank you to the Society of Transplantation Singapore (SOT) and Dr. Matthew D'Costa for the invitation and the opportunity to contribute to this important conversation! 🙏🏻

The inaugural @MayoClinicNeph Glomerular Diseases & Kidney Pathology course is off to an exciting start! With over 1500 patients in our GN program and >500 new glomerular consults per year, as well as >9000 kidney biopsies read by our kidney pathology colleagues per year…
Dr. @fervenzaf reminding us why we need to keep an eye on the source of inflammation in LN! Focusing on proteinuria may be misleading. Redefining “Endpoints in Lupus Nephritis” #Dontbiopsylava Better yet, monitor the immunologic activity to guide your management @MayoClinicNeph
Absolute pleasure to be a part of the @onconephsociety PositionStatement committee and so very grateful to work alongside with team on “Anemia Management in patients with CKD and Cancer” @UTHealthSANeph@HerrmannMd@onconeph
