Interactive visual experiences & design, focus on qualitative visualization – Now @FU_Berlin. Formerly Universität Hamburg and Urban Complexity Lab, @FHPotsdam
Three years ago we started work on this article based on findings in the 3DH project at Universität Hamburg about Hermeneutic Visualization. So happy to see it come to life after a long maturation process! https://t.co/rfIqRt0ejb #dataviz Thanks @RabeaKleymann @janchrismeister
New book: ‘Algorithmen & Zeichen’
Sophie Ehrmanntraut (@SLEhrmanntraut), Jan Distelmeyer and I have published an edition of essays and art work by Frieder Nake (@CarlCanary).

@transcriptweb@unipotsdam

@janchrismeister See also “Towards Hermeneutic Visualization in Digital Literary Studies” (https://t.co/2RWboaVk6W) by @RabeaKleymann & @HerrStange of the related 3DH project (https://t.co/T8XSNmmANo) and Stereoscope (https://t.co/6covf9t904) for visualizing annotations (including from CATMA).
@alanyliu@janchrismeister @RabeaKleymann Thank you for the mention! Btw: Our article will soon appear in DHQ. We are currently revising it, making it fit for publication!
I’m very happy to announce that I have a new website. Have a look here: https://t.co/ugTi2dPAVK
I’m extending my freelance activities and am very much interested in projects involving #datavisualization with a particular focus on #ux! Please retweet!
Happy to announce: The Stereoscope prototype for hermeneutic visualization is online! #DH scholars and all people interested in qualitative data visualization, check this out: https://t.co/FCsKY5R44n #3DH@janchrismeister @RabeaKleymann @JanHorstmannn Special thanks to @laessr!
@aboutgeo@janchrismeister @RabeaKleymann @JanHorstmannn @laessr Thank you, that is something to consider for further development! It is important to note, however, that we by no means consider Stereoscope a tool. It is intended for checking our conceptional assumptions. There are definitely some more steps necessary to call it a tool.
@aboutgeo@janchrismeister @RabeaKleymann @JanHorstmannn @laessr Currently it only supports CATMA annotations, but it should be pretty straightforward to write scripts for other annotation tools.
Great presentation of student project today by @HillmannTheodor! #infoplus2018 MODAL is a visual annotation tool that came out of the #3DH project (https://t.co/6OHWqdJv4A) at Universität Hamburg. Try it out here: https://t.co/hFdw13TvI9
