The Japanese players were terrified of him, and when he’s on his game, he’s genuinely one of the best players in the world. No defender can truly stop him.

The crazy guy picked up the ball from deep in his own half, nutmegged a Japanese player, drove into the box, and hit it with the outside of his boot. If not for bad luck, it would’ve gone down as one of the greatest World Cup goals ever.

Japan were defending with all 11 players behind the ball, and he didn’t care one bit. He kept taking on three defenders at a time like it was nothing. What a player.
