This is precisely why fascist regimes seek to control art, music, entertainment, & human expression. This is why they say “get the politics out of art” when art is inherently political. They know it’s a lie, & this is why. Art is revolutionary & can be a catalyst for change.
During his interview with MSNOW's Symone Sanders-Townsend and Eugene Daniels, Hasan Piker talks about Hamas, the Palestinian resistance as a whole and the issue with the concept of a 'perfect victim.' He compares it with other liberation movements throughout history: "And that is the issue at the heart of the matter; people want perfect victims. Whether they be Black people engaging in the Civil Rights' struggle, historically, whether it be the forces against apartheid in South Africa, whether it be the liberation struggle in Algeria. The expectation from the white moderate or the expectation from people who enjoy the order that exists in civilized society, is that people are not supposed to fight back and try to even match the intensity or the violence of the occupation, the colonial entity or the forces of police brutality that are defending white supremacy. So, that's the reason why I make this distinction. I want people to start thinking; what would they do in that situation? What would they do if they lived in the world's largest open air prison that's hermetically sealed, that is a nuclear armed state, that is backed by the most powerful entity on the planet?"
how can some indians not support Palestine when we know what centuries of colonisation feel like? even rw politicians like vajpayee supported the Palestinian cause. so is it really just cause Palestinians are muslim? because how can you not have a problem with it it’s beyond me
Ms. Rachel:
"Ed Sheeran had an opportunity…Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows."
"If more than 20,000 white children were killed…everyone would be shouting…Treating some children's lives as less worthy of outrage is racist."
Kanye West: "Heil Hitler" currently touring US 🤗

The evolution of 'Antisemitism' will be studied for years
The great mistake of the modern world is the assumption that symbols and stories are not “real,” and therefore have nothing to teach us. If you study the hard sciences but neglect to read myths, folktales, epic poems, your knowledge of reality is distorted at best.
I genuinely don’t understand how we are supposed to casually process that a glacier literally collapsed in Nepal, erasing 19 bridges and killing over 600 people, because the planet is too hot. And instead of stopping it, billionaires are building more data centres. It is completely psychotic.
On the one hand it’s incredibly funny that they’re trying to trick people into seeing this movie by pretending it’s a Robin Hood movie; on the other hand, I wish audiences had enough intellectual curiosity to go see a film about a fascinating moment in English history.
you cannot study literature without also studying history, myths and legends, religions, sometimes art and music and many more topics and this is why i love it so much i think
