The "0" polio dose, referring to the Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV), is typically given within the first 14 days of a child's life, ideally within 24 hours after birth. 

If this dose has not been given by 14 days wait until the child is six weeks old, and then give OPV1 together with other routine EPI vaccines. The at 10 and 14 weeks.
