Plus we need a limit on numbers. Most options for that will take time eg a HoL report suggested two out, one in.
But creating a PR elected House would be fastest. Set a number of seats, around 300/350, leave a chunk for Crossbench experts, and deliver the balance voters want. 2/2

I love working as a peer, and the @UKHouseofLords does perform a valuable function (yes really), but it's time to reform it *properly*.
So I'm glad @UKLabour will stop the hereditary elections (altho bizarrely they usually work v hard), but PR is vital, as are term limits. 1/2
