Growing up in Dollis Hill I was always really proud of what was achieved by Tommy Flowers at the Post Office Research Station at the top of Gladstone Park. Really happy that it’s been recognised!
Our latest blue plaque is up! 🔵
Today, the electrical engineer, Tommy Flowers has been commemorated with a blue plaque. Flowers designed the pioneering Colossus computer used to decipher German codes at Bletchley Park during WW2 and led the team that built it. 🖥️
Always brilliant to visit @TheNMMC with its wonderful collection of small boats (excellently displayed), theatrical exhibitions AND their amazing open boat-building workshop, staffed with highly skilled volunteers working on projects of all shapes and sizes.
We had the wonderful opportunity to sing in the chapel of @TrinCollCam. Our adult choir sang an impromptu rendition of Standford’s ‘Beati quorum via’, one of three Latin motets especially dedicated to the Trinity college chapel choir.
Our fantastic Dulwich Children’s Choir choristers are very excited to have arrived at @JesusCollegeCam for their first day of a wonderful weekend of singing. Stay tuned here for updates as we go! #dccontour
