with the right words, you can change the world. (quote is from Charlotte's Web. opinion is my own. No, the world is not black and white). Parler: @Hexian129
WA state representatives introduced bill to repeal the following: "The state shall not discriminate against/ grant preferential treatment to any individual or grp on the basis of race/sex...in public employment/education contracting."

"Sound Transit’s failure is not an engineering failure. It is a governance failure.
Sound Transit has become an unaccountable political machine: the same leaders who designed the failing plan, appointed the board, selected the executives, and normalized the overruns are now asking the public for more time, more money, and more trust.
That is the status quo that must be broken."
In a Special OpEd to the Seattle Times;
Scott Kubly (Former Director of Seattle DOT) calls for the dissolving of the current 'Dow centric' Sound Transit Board, to be replaced by people who actually know how to run a $200 Billion transit agency.

Can you afford a 30% utility rate increase?
Puget Sound Energy (PSE) is proposing major utility hikes: 30% on electricity and 20% on natural gas over the next three years. The biggest driver? Compliance costs tied to our state's Climate Commitment Act (SB 5126 in 2021, enacted 2023) on the gas side, and the Clean Energy Transformation Act (SB 5116 in 2019) on the electric side according to The Center Square. Both expensive energy policies are from WA Democrats.
These sharp increases need approval from the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, which is appointed by the Governor. Energy bills have already jumped 12% this year alone.
Many WA families and individuals cannot afford this. It’s time for policies that lower the cost of energy, instead of ones that constantly raise prices.

Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson bombed her interview with Fox 13's Hana Kim, at a recent civic event:
❌She refused to answer if she regrets calling for a boycott of Starbucks.
❌She refused to answer if she supports dissolving KCRHA after multiple follow up questions.
❌She refused to answer what her plan is for 12th and Jackson.
❌She blamed the drug and mental heath crisis on 'housing costs'.
❌She refused to respond to L.A. mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt's assertion that she would welcome drug addicts from California.
❌She refused to answer multiple questions on what it would take for her to put drug treatment first
❌She blamed the President of the United States for missing her promised goal of 500 tiny homes before the World Cup.
❌She refused to take responsibility for anything...
Two good things to come out of this were;
✅The Seattle heavy audience letting her know exactly how they feel about her incompetence
✅The (correct) level to which the local media is going to hold Katie Wilson accountable while she remains mayor.

'Mayor Wilson fields frustration at Seattle forum'
Washington state Democrats are on track to spend more than A MILLION DOLLARS in taxpayer money trying to keep me, @choeshow, and @thehoffather from getting press passes. And not a single legacy news outlet has taken the side of press freedom.
You're paying anywhere from 25 to 50 cents extra per gallon thanks to the Climate Commitment Act, and Governor Ferguson says absolutely no way to cutting it. Why? Because the money is vital. The @jcurleyshow walks through exactly where some of that vital money is going
"[Bob Ferguson] said that as long as he’s governor, he’ll veto any effort to lower the income threshold or raise the tax rate. If the governor or Democrats in Olympia wanted us to trust that promise, why didn’t they put those protections directly into the law?
They could have written guardrails preventing future legislatures from lowering the threshold for this new income tax. They didn’t. That was not an oversight. That was a choice!"

Hey WA,
I need your help.
I am asking @GovBobFerguson to call a special session to suspend the CCA to immedietly lower gas prices and utilities.
If you want Bob to suspend the CCA to help working families and lower gasoline and electricity costs then share this post and like it.
Others in the legislator are starting to call for it.
Let's see if Bob actually cares about working class people in Washington.

Bob Ferguson’s army of crazy people defaced the I initiative sheets of a signature gather in Woodenville.
Why is there so much hate from the no hate crowd?
EXPOSED: The far-left majority and Gov. Bob Ferguson just passed an unconstitutional Income Tax into law (SB 6346) and emails from public records requests confirm it was never just about “taxing millionaires.”
According to The Center Square, the WA Democrat Leaders directly worked with WA AG Nick Brown (D) to “force the Washington Supreme Court to reconsider” the landmark Culliton decision that protects families and individuals from state income taxes. In SB 6346, they crafted a 9.9% hit on income over $1 million as a test case to open the door to taxing EVERYONE, just with a simple majority vote.
Despite promised fiscal restraint, Gov. Bob Ferguson signed the Income Tax into law anyway. Multiple Amendments on SB 6346, to ensure this tax was only for millionaires, were voted down by the far left majority. Their plan is crystal clear: Lower the $1 million threshold later and establish an Income Tax on everyone.
WA voters have rejected an income tax many times. Initiative 2111, signed by 450,000+ people, further cemented a prohibition on state income taxes in 2024.
The far left majority ignored the people who voted against the tax repeatedly, ignored the overwhelming public opposition to it (including at least 100,000+ people signing-in CON against the tax (a state record)), ignored economists & business groups, and the ignored the law. This is straight up government greed, not “affordability."
Washington State has a massive spending problem. BILLIONS are being lost to fraud, waste, and abuse, while the far left majority is trying to tax you and your family even further.
Can you afford another 9.9% of your income going away?

Why we need an income tax!
1/4
Washington state is in desperate need of an income tax.
Olympia is clearly running out of other people's money.
Let me explain. Link in thread👇
Governor Bob Ferguson said he "looks forward to the public having their say" weeks after removing the primary method for people to have their say...
Well we have less means of providing our feedback, but one method is still available. I've signed and I recommend everyone else do the same. currently at Fred Meyer in Snohomish. Let's go!! 🇺🇸

"A really nasty lady": Sammamish City Councilwoman Pam Stuart is accused of harassing signature gatherers who are trying to repeal the state income tax. One of her victims says she directly interfered with his ability to collect signatures, which is a violation of state law.
