Richard Heart detained in Istanbul. Cash, watches and cold wallets in the headlines. All attention on the man.
The pDAI “Game” theory becomes more interesting when you read his SciVive PDF. Here’s my speculative interpretation.
1. Build something that continues without you.
“Focus on creating a design that human resources can advance without you.” (p.217)
“What matters is the design.”
He’s discussing business organization: put the right design and people in place so their work continues independently of yours.
Applied to the current situation, the parallel is concrete. If pioneers have built independent infrastructure, Richard being detained needn’t prevent them from completing it. A functioning dollar emerging during his absence would demonstrate that independence.
2. The messenger can become an obstacle to the mission.
“You may not be the best carrier of your own information.” (p.350)
He explains that people disliking the messenger can make them reject an otherwise worthwhile idea.
My interpretation: he understands that a project’s success may eventually require people to judge its results independently of its creator. That fits a storyline where the public watches Richard’s legal troubles while builders establish something useful on its own terms.
3. Let the audience participate in discovering the story.
“Ambiguity is your friend.” (p.340)
He calls the gaps people fill themselves “mental negative space.” He also argues that people defend ideas they believe they arrived at themselves.
That provides a psychological explanation for the appeal of clues, wallet trails and unanswered questions. The audience becomes invested in solving the mystery. It also explains why apparent connections can feel convincing before they are verified.
4. Give the story a transformative reveal.
He describes “an enemy, a hero, a path, learning, self-discovery and betrayal” (p.342), followed by the idea of a punchline that makes everything understood at once.
That’s the “Game” parallel: apparent defeat, then a revelation that changes the meaning of earlier events.
He also advocates making science and technology heroic (p.457). In the pDAI version, the pioneers become those heroes, and the community receives the benefit.
These are recognizable interests in his writing: influence, audience participation, technical achievement and lasting impact.
They make the proposed plot psychologically coherent. Whether it exists is a separate question. The book establishes neither a staged detention nor RH’s involvement in a pDAI peg.

Dear Mr. President @realDonaldTrump,
Richard Heart (Richard James Schueler), an American citizen and founder of HEX, PulseChain, and PulseX, was detained in Istanbul on an Interpol red notice requested solely by Finland. The notice is for alleged tax matters in Finland - not a U.S. criminal charge.
The U.S. SEC’s civil case against him (claiming unregistered offerings) was dismissed in 2025 for lack of jurisdiction.
There is no U.S. indictment.
As an American, he deserves due process and protection from being held on a foreign tax allegation that has been misrepresented in Turkish statements as “$1 billion U.S./Finland crypto fraud.”
Please look into his situation and ensure a U.S. citizen is not left stranded abroad on an inaccurate Interpol request.
Thank you. 🇺🇸

An image has emerged reportedly showing Richard Heart and his wife during their detention in Istanbul on 14 October. The couple appear to have been taken by surprise. The image’s authenticity and precise timing have not been independently verified.
BALİNA JAMES'E KELEPÇE VURULDUĞU AN!
İnterpol'ün kripto dolandırıcılığından ararken İstanbul'da yakalanan "Balina James" lakaplı Richard James Schueller'in yakalandığı anda çekilen fotoğrafı ortaya çıktı!
The INTERPOL red notice was requested only by Finland (issued December 2024). The offence listed on it is aggravated tax fraud (törkeä veropetos) covering roughly June 2020–April 2024.
The well-known U.S. case was a civil SEC lawsuit from 2023 alleging unregistered securities offerings (HEX, PulseChain, PulseX) that raised over $1 billion and misappropriation of ~$12 million. That case was dismissed in February 2025 for lack of personal jurisdiction; the SEC did not refile. There is no reported U.S. criminal indictment, no U.S. red notice, and the U.S. is not seeking his extradition.

ZERO OR HERO.
It’s not just about pDAI anymore.
Richard Heart’s reported detention puts PulseChain at a potentially decisive moment.
A calculated masterplan, or a founder in serious trouble?
Vindication, or an eventual conviction over the alleged international fraud operation?
Some already see Turkish citizenship, tax advantages and extradition protection as pieces of a carefully arranged strategy. None of that has been established.
Then there’s the ultimate theory: the perfect decoy for a pDAI peg. Heart in custody while the machinery delivers without him. Decentralization demonstrated when it matters most.
Or are we watching another setback become another breadcrumb, because the belief in a plan survives every possible turn?
The distance between those endings is enormous. Evidence will decide which story survives.
pDAI: HERO OR ZERO 👇
We contacted a Finnish senior detective superintendent who previously led the Richard Heart investigation.
He said he is relying entirely on Turkish media reports regarding the alleged arrest.
He may simply not have been informed yet. Official confirmation still remains pending.
